City On A Hill

Welcome! City on a Hill offers three levels of children’s education classes:
· Preschool for 3 to 5 years of age
· Kindergarten through 2nd grade
· 3rd grade through 5th grade

All classes are located in the ‘Loft’, which is two doors west of the Lobo. Parents may take their preschool child(ren) to the Loft at 10:55am. The older two classes worship with their parents until their classes begin. The worship leader dismisses the children to their classes around 11:30am on Sundays. Crossing Guards (adult escorts) walk the children to their classes at the Loft. After the service is over, parents are to pick their children up at the Loft no later than 12:45pm. Parents are welcome anytime to go to the Loft and observe the classes.


Vision Statement:
The vision of the Crosswalk Children’s Ministry is to teach, train, and encourage the child to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.

Scheduling:
Preschool class is offered every week. K-5th classes will be held every Sunday except for the fourth weekend of each month and special services. On these occasions, the children will attend worship service with their parents. This is done intentionally in order for the children to be exposed to the worship service experience.

Preschool Procedures
Preschool teachers are available in the loft for drop off 5 minutes before worship service begins. You will be given a laminated number when you drop off your child. This number will be required to pick up your child after service. The preschool teachers have been instructed to release a child only to the parent or guardian possessing the number. Please do not have an older sibling or friend attempt to pick up your child, as he/she will not be released to them. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep your children safe.
